Placing a Map Icon in the App Toolbar

Placing a Map Icon in the App Toolbar

See an example of this in the Locly Native demo app.  From the main menu tap on ‘Map Features’. Then ‘Collection Map Icon’.  You will see an Arrow icon in the top right-hand corner of the toolbar.  This links to the ‘Collection Map’ collection.

  • First create your Collection Map.  For details on how to do this, see this guide.
  • Next, go to the Card or Collection where you want the icon to appear.
  • Click on ‘About’ and then ‘JSON’.
  • Go to the bottom of the JSON code and paste in the following after “name”:
 "navigator": {
 "rightMenuItem": {
 "icon": "map",
 "link": {
 "collection": "f71ed30a9d3746d7a1b0947cde2b37eb"
 }
 }
 }
  • Replace the Collection ID with the correct ID for your app.
  • Check in the Locly Native preview app.
